Tender Description
Govt Degree College Jalaka Mela Orakzai invites sealed bids under National Competitive Bidding for the procurement of Computers & Allied facilities, Lab Equipment & Chemicals, and Books. The procurement is conducted under rule 6 (2) (b) — Single Stage Two Envelope procedure of KP-PPRA Rules 2014. Items being procured:
- Package#01 Computers & Allied facilities (Rs. 2.8 Million)
- Package#02 Lab Equipments & Chemicals (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology & Botany) (Rs. 2.0 Million)
- Package#03 Books (Rs. 0.1 Million)
The technical scope includes supply of computers and related facilities, scientific lab equipment and chemicals for multiple science disciplines, and educational books. Bidders must be manufacturers or authorized dealers/importers registered with Income/Sales Tax and reflected on the Active Taxpayer List (ATL) of FBR. Bid security of 2% of the quoted value is mandatory in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) or Demand Draft (DD) in favor of the Principal Govt Degree College Jalaka Mela Orakzai. An affidavit confirming placement of bid security in the financial bid is required in the technical bid without indicating the figure. Technical and financial bids must be submitted separately in clearly marked envelopes.
The tenders must reach the office by 10:30 AM on 27-10-2026. Technical bids will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day in the meeting room of the college in the presence of the procurement committee and bidders or their representatives. Successful bidders will submit a performance guarantee of 10% of the bid amount for FY 2026-27 from a scheduled bank. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids as per Rule 47 of KPPRA Rules 2014.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their bids ensuring compliance with all requirements and timely submission to avoid disqualification. Maintaining clear communication and providing complete contact details on envelopes will facilitate smooth processing.
