The Punjab Irrigation Department invites bids for concrete lining works of minor canals in Pakpattan district under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure. The department is procuring two specific works: Concrete Lining of 2R/2L Minor from RD:16+600 to RD:39+500 Tail with an estimated cost of Rs. 89.737 million, and Concrete Lining of 3R/2L Minor from RD 00+000 to RD 09+000 (Working reach from RD 02+250 to RD 10+000) with an estimated cost of Rs. 26.254 million. Items being procured: - Concrete Lining of 2R/2L Minor from RD:16+600 to RD:39+500 Tail - Concrete Lining of 3R/2L Minor from RD 00+000 to RD 09+000 (Working reach from RD 02+250 to RD 10+000) The technical scope involves civil works for canal lining to improve irrigation efficiency and reduce water loss. The works will be executed in accordance with the Punjab E-Procurement System and relevant PPRA Rules 2014. Contractors must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with the appropriate specialization code and must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement System. Valid registration with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for the financial year 2026-27 is also mandatory. Earnest money amounting to 5% of the estimated cost must be deposited digitally through the Punjab e-Procurement System. Manual bids or manual bid securities will not be accepted. The bid submission deadline is 12th August 2026 at 12:30 PM, with bid opening at 1:00 PM the same day at the office of the Executive Engineer, Eastern Bar Division, Pakpattan. Bidders should ensure complete and accurate documentation including DNT/BOQs, tax receipts, CNIC, and PEC certificates. Conditional or incomplete bids will be rejected. The successful bidder must provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount through the online payment system. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully follow the online submission process on the Punjab e-Procurement portal and ensure all digital payments and documents are uploaded before the deadline to avoid disqualification.
