Tender Description
The Punjab Irrigation Department invites bids for concrete lining works under the Single Stage-One Envelope bidding procedure from engineering firms and contractors licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). The works are for the Eastern Bar Division in Pakpattan, specifically within the Sahiwal Irrigation Zone. The tender includes two major concrete lining projects:
Items being procured:
- Concrete lining of 2R/2L Minor from RD:16+600 to RD:39+500 Tail (Estimated cost Rs. 89.737 million)
- Concrete lining of 3R/2L Minor from RD:00+000 to RD:09+000 (Working reach from RD 02+250 to RD 10+000) (Estimated cost Rs. 25.254 million)
The scope covers detailed civil works for canal lining to improve water conveyance efficiency and reduce seepage losses. The projects are located in the Sahiwal Irrigation Zone, requiring adherence to PWD specifications and quality standards. Contractors must be registered with the Punjab e-Procurement System and hold valid PEC licenses with the relevant specialization codes. Registration with the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA) for the year 2026-27 is mandatory, along with valid FBR/ATL status and CNIC documentation.
Earnest money must be deposited online through the Punjab e-Procurement System as per the specified percentage of the estimated cost. Bids will be received digitally until 12 August 2026 at 12:30 PM, with bid opening scheduled for the same day at 1:00 PM at the office of the Executive Engineer, Eastern Bar Division, Pakpattan. Manual bids or physical CDRs will not be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance guarantee of 10% of the contract amount and execute an agreement within 15 days of acceptance.
