Tender Description
The Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) (GSC HESCO) invites sealed bids for the construction work of the boundary wall and main entry gate of the 66 KV Grid Station Khipro located in Hyderabad. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is open to eligible bidders registered on the EPADS v2.0 platform. The scope includes comprehensive civil works such as cutting and removing trees, uprooting stumps, jungle clearance, dismantling brick and stone masonry, excavation, cement concrete works, brickwork, damp proof courses, filling and ramming earth, polythene sheet laying, fixing G.I posts and barbed wire fencing, painting, flooring, wiring, and fabrication of iron entrance gates.
Items being procured:
- Cutting and removing trees (5 up to 750mm, 3 from 750mm to 1.75m)
- Uprooting stumps and removing within 30m (30 nos)
- Jungle clearance and removing light and thick vegetation
- Dismantling bricks and stone masonry
- Excavation in foundation and puddling slush
- Cement concrete plain and grouting
- Brick work in foundation, plinth, and other building works
- Vertical damp proof course
- Filling, watering, and ramming earth
- Polythene sheet 0.2 mm thick
- Damp proof course with cement, sand, and shingle concrete
- Providing and fixing G.I angle iron posts and barbed wire fencing
- Fabricated iron entrance gate
- Wiring and electrical works including light/fan points and earth continuity conductor
- Painting and weather shield coating
- Flooring with granite glazed tiles
- Other related civil and finishing works as per bill of quantities
The technical scope requires adherence to quality standards including water quality tests, crush tests, sand tests, and steel tests before material usage. The site will be inspected regularly by the XEN Civil Division and their teams to ensure compliance. Bidders must have a valid PEC license in category C5 or higher with specialization CE09 & CE10, be registered with FBR and SRB, and have experience of at least two similar works in the last seven years with satisfactory completion certificates. Bid security of Rs. 1,300,000/- must be submitted in original before the closing date.
Bids must be submitted electronically through EPADS v2.0 by Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 11:15 AM. Manual submissions will not be accepted. The bid opening will be conducted on the same day at 11:45 AM via EPADS. The procurement method is Single Stage One Envelope using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS). Performance security of 10% of contract price is required from the successful bidder. The contract duration is 120 days from commencement.
