Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the construction of BT road side drains at Killi Ragha and BT road at Peer Nana Sahab Street in Saraghurgai Bypass, Quetta. The Executive Engineer Roads Kuchlak CWPP&H Department Quetta is overseeing these projects, which are critical for improving local infrastructure and drainage systems in the region. The works involve earthworks, bituminous road construction, and drainage installation using composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage basis.
The projects require experienced contractors familiar with road construction materials such as bitumen, aggregates, and concrete for drains. The site conditions in Quetta pose engineering challenges including terrain and weather considerations, demanding robust construction techniques and quality control to ensure durability and safety of the roads and drainage.
Bidders must be registered on the Electronic Public Procurement System of BPPRA GOB and listed on the Active Tax Payer List. The bidding firm should not be blacklisted and must have completed at least two similar assignments. Compliance with Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 is mandatory. PEC registration and FBR/ATL status are essential for eligibility in the 2025-26 financial year. Bid security in the form of bank guarantee or call deposit receipt of 2% of the bid amount is required.
The deadline for bid submission is 10 March 2026 by 11:00 AM via the supplier dashboard on the EPPS system. Tender opening will occur the same day at 12:00 PM. Physical correspondence and inquiries can be addressed to the Office of the Executive Engineer Roads Kuchlak CWPP&H Department, Spiny Road Quetta.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid documents include the correct Earnest Money and are submitted electronically on time. Missing the specific stamp duty or bid security format often leads to disqualification, so double-check these details before submission.
