Construction of Building for Rewinding Workshop and Transformer Rewinding Machines & Accessories at Diamer Chilas

The Government of Gilgit Baltistan, through the Water & Power Division Diamer Chilas, invites sealed tenders from approved Government Contractors and Firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council for the year 2025-26. The procurement involves two key works at Diamer Chilas: Items being procured: - Construction of Building for rewinding workshop at Shaheen Kot Chilas - Transformer rewinding machines & accessories The first project involves civil construction work for a building dedicated to the rewinding workshop, while the second involves procurement of transformer rewinding machines and related accessories. Both works are critical for enhancing the operational capacity of the Water & Power Division in Diamer Chilas. Bidders must be registered with PEC in the relevant category and have renewed their registration for the year 2025-26, with renewal fees for 2026-27 also required. Submission of CNIC of the contractor or firm, a paid firm letter blank, and attested documents are mandatory. The tender documents are available from 5th October 2026, with the cost of tender forms set at Rs. 4,000 each. Earnest money of 2% of the estimated cost is required: Rs. 59,800 for the building construction and Rs. 58,300 for the transformer machines. The last date for submission of bids is 6th October 2026, with the opening of bids scheduled on the same day at 10:00 AM for the building construction and 11:00 AM for the transformer machines. Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their technical and financial bids, ensuring all required documents and earnest money are included to avoid disqualification.
