Tender Description
The Municipal Committee Ghotki invites bids for the construction of CC Paver and surface drain at Devri Sahab near Bypass Road in Ghotki, Sindh. This procurement is aimed at improving local infrastructure under the supervision of the Municipal Committee Ghotki. Items being procured:
- Excavation in foundation of building, bridges and other structures including dagbelling, dressing, refilling around structure with excavated earth (271 P.Cft)
- Cement concrete brick or stone ballast 1 1/2" to 2" gauge ratio 1:4:8 (89.43 P.Cft)
- Constructing standard open drains cunette block of cement concrete (1:2:4) Type I and Type II B (50 P.Rft each)
- Pacca brick work in foundation and plinth with cement sand mortar 1:6 (187.50 P.Cft)
- Cement plaster 1:6 upto 12' height, 1/2" thick (300 P.Sft)
- R.C.C work in roof slab, beams, columns, rafts, lintels and other structural members (61.97 P.Cft)
- Fabrication of deformed steel reinforcement for cement concrete including cutting, bending, laying, making joints and fastenings (2.48967 P-Cwt)
- Filling, watering and ramming earth under floor with new earth (3600 P.Cft)
- Preparing sub-base course by supplying and spreading stone metal 1-1/2" to 2" gauge (1200 P.%Cft)
- Hard murrum or fine powdery murrum (408 P.%Cft)
- Providing and fixing cement paving blocks flooring size 197 x 97 x 60 mm (2400 P.Sft)
- Cement concrete plain including placing, compacting, finishing and curing (148.1 P.Cft)
The technical scope includes excavation, concrete works, brickwork, plastering, reinforcement fabrication, earth filling, sub-base preparation, and paving block installation. The site is located near Bypass Road in Ghotki and the contract duration is 24 months. The work must comply with PWD/PHE specifications and no premium will be paid on non-schedule items. Eligibility criteria require registration with PEC, active NTN and SRB registration, minimum 5 years relevant experience, completion of similar works with at least 80% of estimated cost, and financial soundness with audited reports and bank statements. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security and an affidavit confirming no blacklisting.
The bid submission deadline is **21 August 2026 at 23:59:59** with electronic submission on EPADS and original bid security and tender fee delivered to the Municipal Committee Ghotki office near Sarkari Bag. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized agents. The bid validity period is 90 days. The evaluation will be based on technical and financial criteria with a minimum qualifying score of 75%.
