Tender Description
The CW, PP&H Department Quetta had issued tenders for the construction of the Admin Block of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Branch Registry located in Quetta. This procurement included both the physical construction works and consultancy services for design review and supervision. The project was aimed at enhancing the judicial infrastructure in Quetta by establishing a dedicated administrative block for the Supreme Court branch registry.
The technical scope involved comprehensive construction activities including civil works, structural development, and architectural finishes. Alongside, consultancy services were required to ensure design compliance, quality control, and supervision throughout the construction phase. This dual scope demanded contractors with relevant PEC registration in construction and firms experienced in consultancy services related to building projects.
Eligible bidders were expected to be registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and listed on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in similar government projects and submission of earnest money in the form of a CDR were prerequisites. The tenders were originally published on 22nd May 2026 with a closing and opening date set for 10th June 2026. Submissions were to be made to the Executive Engineer (Buildings) at the CW, PP&H Department office in Saddar Quetta.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all technical and financial documents are meticulously prepared and submitted before the deadline. Given the complexity of combined works and consultancy tenders, clear separation and proper labeling of technical and financial bids can prevent disqualification. Also, maintaining updated PEC and FBR credentials is crucial for eligibility.
Note that these tenders have been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances, but understanding the scope and requirements remains valuable for future opportunities with the department.
