Construction of External Drainage and Sewerage Works at University of Sufism and Modern Sciences Bhitshah

The University of Sufism and Modern Sciences Bhitshah invites bids for the construction and completion of External Drainage and Sewerage Works under the ADP Scheme #730 of 2026-27. This project involves comprehensive civil works including excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, and installation of sewage treatment facilities in Bhitshah, Sindh. Items being procured: - Construction of manholes and inspection chambers of various diameters and depths with cement plastering and fixing of CI manhole covers - Manufacturing and supplying RCC manhole covers - Dry rammed brick or stone ballast - Excavation for pipeline trenches and pits - Providing and laying RCC pipes of various diameters - Providing and laying uPVC pipes and HDPE pipes for water supply and drainage - Non-schedule items including uPVC rainwater pipes, P-traps, CI gratings, submersible sludge pumps, septic tanks, RCC underground sewage pumping stations, electric and diesel pumps, and 12-inch diameter uPVC pipes - Plinth protection works around buildings including excavation, lean concrete foundation, brick masonry toe wall, sand cushion, and PCC topping The technical scope covers all civil, plumbing, drainage, and water supply works as per the Bill of Quantities and technical specifications. The contractor is required to provide all necessary equipment, machinery, and skilled supervisory staff including a B.Sc. Civil Engineer as Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Site Supervisors, and Field Surveyors with relevant PEC registration and experience. Eligibility criteria include valid PEC registration, active FBR and SRB taxpayer status, experience in similar assignments for at least 3 years, and submission of bid security amounting to Rs. 3,500,000. The contract duration is 180 days from the date of commencement with a defects liability period of 365 days. Performance security of 10% of contract price is required.
