Tender Description
Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC) through its Baluchistan Agricultural Research & Development Centre (BARDC) invites reputable firms to submit electronic bids for the construction and installation of Solar Dehydration Tunnels aimed at enhancing the export quality of dried fruits and vegetables across different regions. This project involves the construction and installation of a total of 42 solar dehydration tunnels. The work will be executed under the supervision of the Directorate of Works & Services, PARC, Islamabad, with a completion period of eighteen calendar months. Items being procured:
- Construction and installation of 42 Solar Dehydration Tunnels
The technical scope includes the use of solar technology for dehydration purposes, supporting export enhancement of dried fruits and vegetables. Interested firms must have at least five years of relevant experience, supported by certified details of similar works completed in the last five years. A minimum turnover of Rs. 30 Million, proven by audited reports of the last three years, is mandatory. Firms must be registered with a valid PEC category C-4 or above and hold active Income Tax and Sales Tax registrations. A non-blacklisting affidavit and proof of no litigation with any department or client are also required. Earnest money amounting to Rs. 3,500,000/- must be submitted in the form of a Pay Order or Bank Draft in favor of Pakistan Agricultural Research Council.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-PADS V2.0 portal by October 29, 2026, at 1100 hours. The bid security in the form of a Call Deposit/Bank Draft must be uploaded online and physically submitted on the closing date to the office of the Director (Works), PARC, Islamabad or the Director General, BARDC Quetta. Bids will be opened the same day at 1130 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives at the Director (Works) office in Islamabad.
This tender follows the Single Stage Single Envelope open competitive bidding procedure. The PARC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids as per PPRA rules. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely registration and submission on the E-PADS portal and to prepare all required documentation, including the earnest money and technical credentials, well in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
