Tender Description
The Export Processing Zones Authority (EPZA) Karachi invites experienced and eligible firms registered with Income Tax (ATL), Sales Tax Departments, and licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council in the C-V or above category for the fiscal year 2025-2026 to participate in the construction and installation of two new weighbridges each with a capacity of 125 metric tons. This tender is issued by the Export Processing Zones Authority located in Karachi, Sindh.
Items being procured:
- Construction and installation of 2 Nos. new weighbridges of 125 M. Ton capacity each
The technical scope includes full civil construction and installation works for the weighbridges at the designated site within the Karachi Export Processing Zone, Landhi Industrial Area Extension, Mehran Highway. The project requires adherence to engineering standards and quality control as per PEC guidelines for category C-V or above. Bidders must submit a 2% bid security in the form of a pay order along with their technical and financial documents. The bid security must be submitted in a sealed envelope as per the EPADS and PPRA rules.
Eligibility criteria include valid registration with Income Tax (ATL), Sales Tax Departments, and PEC license in category C-V or above. Experience in similar weighbridge construction projects will be advantageous. The last date for submission of bids is June 17, 2026, at 11:30 AM. Bids will be opened on June 30, 2026, at 12:00 Noon in the presence of committee members and bidders who wish to attend. Submission must be made through the EPADS online system and hard copies as specified.
