Tender Description
The Military Engineering Services (Army)-II Quetta is procuring a range of construction, repair, maintenance, and supply works at the Command & Staff College (C&SC) and SI&T Quetta. This tender covers multiple scopes including residential and non-residential accommodation repairs, abnormal repair works, allied and miscellaneous facilities, minor maintenance and deposit works, electric and water supply items, and bazar supply materials.
The technical scope is comprehensive, involving construction and maintenance of buildings, electrical and water supply systems, and supply of materials for various departments within the Quetta cantonment. The contract periods vary from 2 months for construction and repair works to 12 months for maintenance and supply items. The tender invites contractors with relevant experience and credentials to submit their applications for issuance of tender documents.
Eligibility requires contractors to be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), with preference for those enlisted with MES in appropriate categories. Firms not registered with PEC may be ineligible. Contractors must also be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience of work executed in the last two years must be documented and submitted along with the application.
The tender documents can be obtained from the office of Commander MES (Army)-II Quetta during working hours 0900 to 1400. The submission deadline is **29 April 2026 at 1100 hours**, with bid opening at 1200 hours the same day. The submission address is the office of the accepting officer at MES Quetta.
A practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all technical and financial documents are complete and properly attested, including the Earnest Money or CDR as required. Early submission is advised to avoid last-minute issues, and bidders should verify their PEC registration category to match the tender requirements to avoid disqualification.
