The Military Engineer Services invites applications from eligible contractors and firms for a range of construction, repair, and water supply works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD, and Lyari Karachi. This opportunity is open to pre-qualified contractors/firms, with tenders to be issued on 24 Aug 2026. All completed bids must be submitted by 1130 hours on 31 Aug 2026, and will be opened the same day at 1200 hours. Items being procured: - Provision/Construction of Certain Facility at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi - Repair/Maintenance/Minor/Major/Abnormal Repair Works at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi - TC International/Extension B/R, E/M Works & F&S at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi - Supply of Fresh Water Through Bowzers to Miscellaneous Stations at Mauripur, PN Dockyard, NSSD & Lyari Karachi The technical scope covers both civil and electrical/mechanical works, including new facility construction, major and minor repairs, and the supply of fresh water via bowzers to various naval stations. Contractors must be on the approved list 'D' of MES or other government departments with relevant experience. All applicants must furnish valid registration certificates from the Pakistan Engineering Council and provide a bank statement. Those not on the MES approved list must submit proof of financial standing, staff details, tools and plant inventory, and a record of similar works executed in the last ten years. Contractors not on the MES list or suspended must deposit earnest money equal to 2% of the estimated cost in the form of FDR or Deposit At Call, pledged to CMES (Navy) COMLOG. This amount is refundable if not pre-qualified or unsuccessful. Bids must be submitted in hard copy at the CMES (Navy) COMLOG office by the deadline. A practical tip: ensure all required documentation, especially the proforma detailing past works and performance, is fully completed and attested, as incomplete applications will not be entertained.
