Construction and Repair Works at Zone-I E-8 Islamabad and Lahore

The Military Engineering Services (MES) invites applications for prequalification and issuance of tenders for various construction and repair works at Zone-I E-8 Islamabad and Lahore. The scope includes provision of retaining walls with concrete and earth work, solid blocks, rock walls, gazebos, marble and tile painting, wire netting, hollow pipe rainwater drainage, tuff tiles, PCC kerb stones, steel works, repair and replacement of security barriers, foundation construction for an oxygen tank at a 500-bed hospital, installation of iron grills at a children's school, and miscellaneous works and facilities at both Islamabad and Lahore. Eligible firms must be enlisted with MES in category 'D' or higher or registered with other government departments with relevant experience. Contractors must provide detailed documentation including list of movable and immovable assets, skilled and unskilled personnel, machinery and equipment, bank statements, GST registration, NTN certificate, and must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council with renewal valid for 2026. Experience in similar works and satisfactory performance reports are mandatory. Prequalification documents can be obtained from CMES (N) Islamabad/Lahore office located in Sector E-8 Islamabad. Completed tenders must be submitted by 11:30 AM on 6th April 2026 and will be opened the same day at 12:00 PM. Contractors are encouraged to witness the tender opening. The Accepting Officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications as per PPRA rules 2004. Incomplete applications will not be entertained. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all required documents and certifications are complete and up to date before submission, especially PEC registration and performance reports, to avoid disqualification during prequalification.
