Tender Description
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Highways Authority (PKHA) in Peshawar is procuring construction works for multiple road and bridge projects across districts Dir Lower, Upper Dir, and Peshawar. This tender invites eligible contractors registered with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), enlisted with the C&W Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant categories. Bidders must also appear on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and demonstrate financial soundness and relevant experience.
Items being procured:
- Construction of additional 10-KM road originating Provincial Highway S-4 Haya Serai to Zimdara (KM-18+000 to KM-28+000) District Dir Lower
- Construction of road from Patrak to Thal Kumrat in District Upper Dir (37.325 KM) Subhead: Package-VI KM 31.000 to KM 37.325
- F/S, Design & Reconstruction of Bridges: (i) Construction of Matra Bridge (S-4), District Peshawar
- Construction of Machni Bridge (S-4), District Peshawar
- Construction of Kababian Bridge (S-4), District Peshawar
The scope includes civil construction of roads and bridges with detailed engineering design, site works, and reconstruction. The projects are large scale and require PEC registration in categories C-1 and C-2 or above. Contractors must submit technical bids with proof of registration, experience certificates, financial soundness, and other required documents as per the Instructions to Bidders. The procurement will be conducted electronically through the e-PAD system, with bid security of 2% of the estimated cost and tender entry fee in the form of Call Deposit Receipt (CDR).
The closing date for submission is 26th August 2026 at 1200 hours. Bidders should submit their bids electronically and also provide hard copies to the Director (Procurement) at PKHA office, Attached Departments Complex, Gate No. 5, Khyber Road, Peshawar. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 20th July 2026 at 11:00 am for clarifications. Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 1230 hours.
