Tender Description
The Pakistan Mineral Development Corporation (PMDC), under the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division), invites sealed bids for the construction of a solar parking shed at its branch office in Quetta. This procurement is aimed at enhancing the infrastructure with sustainable energy solutions, reflecting the government's commitment to renewable energy and efficient facility management.

The project involves civil construction works integrated with solar power equipment installation. The scope includes site preparation, structural framework, roofing, and installation of solar panels to provide shaded parking with renewable energy benefits. Eligible bidders must comply with PEC registration requirements for civil works and have relevant experience in solar infrastructure projects. Registration with FBR and ATL is mandatory. Bidders should also provide a Bid Security of Rs. 100,000 as per the bidding document instructions.
The tender follows the Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004. E-bidding documents are available on the Pakistan Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) portal. Bidders must submit their bids electronically via EPADS v2.0 by Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Bid opening will occur the same day at 11:30 AM.
