Tender Description

Quetta Electric Supply Company Limited (QESCO) invites bids for the construction of tower foundations, erection, and stringing of 132kV type towers under NHA deposit work in Quetta, Balochistan. The project involves construction of foundations including excavation, dewatering, shuttering, blasting, concreting, curing, and backfilling as per WAPDA specifications. It also includes erection of towers with installation of anti-climbing devices, danger plates, phase plates, welding of tower nuts and bolts, and stringing of Lynx conductors with shield wires and insulators as per NTDC/WAPDA standards. The scope covers dismantling and re-stringing of conductors and shifting of materials to QESCO's T&G Warehouse. Eligible bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for 2025-2026 in category C-5 with specialization codes EE-05 and CE-10. Firms must be active taxpayers with FBR and BRA registrations and have completed at least two similar contracts with DISCOs or NTDC in the last eight years. The average annual turnover should be at least Rs. 50 million with cash flow of Rs. 13 million for this tender. Bid security in the form of bank guarantee or CDR valid for 150 days is mandatory. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000 is non-refundable. Bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS by 24th June 2026 at 11:30 AM. Technical and financial bids will be opened on the same day. Original bid security and tender fee receipts must be submitted one day prior to bid opening at the office of Project Director (GSC) QESCO, Quetta. No manual bids will be accepted. The contract includes a 10% performance security and a defect liability period of 180 days. Liquidated damages of 0.1% per day apply for late completion.
