Tender Description
Quetta Electric Supply Company Limited (QESCO) invites bids for the construction of tower foundations, erection, and stringing of 132kV type towers at Daanish School, Turbat, part of the existing 132kV Tump–Turbat Transmission Line. This tender is specifically issued by the Project Director (GSC) QESCO, Quetta, and requires firms registered on E-PADS with valid PEC License (2025–2026) in category C–5 and specialization EE-05, CE-10. The procurement is for works involving construction and electrical installation in Balochistan.

- Foundation type ZM - 1, Ø = 20 /Footing (24 units)
- Foundation type ZM - 30, Ø = 20 /Footing (4 units)
- Foundation type ZM - 60, Ø = 20 /Footing (8 units)
- Transportation and erection of towers ZM - 1 (6 units)
- Transportation and erection of towers ZM - 30 (1 unit)
- Transportation and erection of towers ZM - 60 (2 units)
- Welding of tower nut & bolts up to 6 Mtr. height (2406 units)
- Transportation and stringing of ACSR Cairo Conductor S/C (2.20 KM)
- Safe dismantling and shifting of existing towers ZM - 1 (1 unit), ZM - 60 (2 units), TBA Type tower (5 units)
- Dismantling of conductor along with shield wire (2.2 KM)
- Add 1% BRA Tax on all items
The technical scope includes excavation, dewatering, shuttering, blasting, chiseling, concreting, curing, backfilling, installation of grounding sets, transportation of materials from QESCO warehouse to site, erection of towers with anticlimbing devices, fixing of danger plates, phase plates, number plates, welding, stringing of conductors and shield wires, and dismantling of existing towers and conductors as per WAPDA/NTDC specifications. The site is located at Turbat, Balochistan, and all works must comply with the detailed technical provisions and drawings provided in the bidding documents.
Eligibility criteria require bidders to have a valid PEC license in category C-5, be registered with Balochistan Revenue Authority (BRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Active Taxpayer List, and have completed at least two similar contracts within the last eight years with DISCOs or NTDC. The average annual turnover must be at least Rs. 50 million with a minimum cash flow of Rs. 13 million. Blacklisted firms are not eligible.
The bid closing date is **20th July 2026 at 11:30 AM** with bid opening at 12:00 PM on the same day at the office of Project Director (GSC) QESCO, Quetta. Bids must be submitted electronically via E-PADS only; manual bids will not be accepted. Earnest Money in the form of a Bank Guarantee or CDR valid for 150 days is mandatory. Tender fee of Rs. 5,000 must be deposited prior to bid opening.
