Tender Description
This tender invites consultancy firms to provide feasibility study and prepare PC-II for the extension and development of the Mirani Dam Command Area in Quetta, Balochistan. Issued by Green Balochistan Initiatives, it focuses on consultancy services in the field of engineering and project development.
The consultancy involves detailed technical assessment of the Mirani Dam Command Area, including hydrological studies, land use planning, and infrastructure development. The project demands firms with experience in similar scale feasibility studies, particularly those involving survey drones and DGPS technology. The site in Quetta presents unique engineering challenges due to its terrain and water management needs, requiring precise and innovative solutions.
Bidders must be registered with PEC as Consulting Engineering Firms and be on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL) with FBR and BRA registration. The firm should have a turnover of at least PKR 9 million and relevant experience in projects of similar complexity and cost within the last five years. Compliance with Balochistan Public Procurement Rules 2014 is mandatory, and firms must provide a 2% bid security via Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank.
The submission deadline is set for 04 March 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM on the same day at the office of the Project Director, Green Balochistan Initiatives, Quetta. Proposals must be submitted electronically through the Electronic Public Procurement System (EPPS).
Pro-Tip: Ensure your technical proposal is comprehensive and meets all PEC and FBR requirements to avoid disqualification. Also, double-check the bid security format and submission timing to prevent common pitfalls that often lead to rejection.
