Tender Description
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Mobility Authority (KPUMA), under the Transport & Mass Transit Department of the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is seeking reputed consultancy firms for a critical infrastructure project in Peshawar. This tender invites proposals for consultancy services specifically for the feasibility study of the Peshawar Valley Railway Project covering the Peshawar-Nowshera-Jehangira section. The project aims to develop integrated, strategic, and sustainable urban mobility and transport infrastructure in the province.

The scope includes comprehensive strategic planning encompassing regional linkages, demand modeling, and structural viability assessments. The consultancy will be conducted under the relevant ADP Scheme using the Quality & Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method to ensure the best technical and financial proposals are selected.
Eligible firms must have active registration with relevant professional bodies such as PEC codes 1201, 1214, 1215, FBR, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA). Experience in feasibility studies, transport planning, and railway engineering is mandatory. The technical and financial proposals must be submitted electronically through the EPADS platform under National Competitive Bidding (NCB).
Key dates include a pre-bid meeting on 2026-07-29 at 11:00 AM at the KPUMA office located at Ground Floor, KPUMA Building, Main BRT Chamkani Depot, Main GT Road, Peshawar. The final submission deadline for e-bids is 2026-08-05 at 2:00 PM, with the technical bid opening at 2:30 PM the same day.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your technical and financial proposals are complete, clearly scanned, and uploaded on EPADS before the deadline. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
