Consultancy for Implementing Assignment for SMEs Greening Accelerator Initiative

The Government of Pakistan through GIZ Pakistan invites expressions of interest (EOI) for a consultancy assignment to support SMEs through the SME Greening Accelerator Initiative. This initiative is co-financed by the EU and BMZ and aims to promote responsible production and supply chain approach, focusing on due diligence, occupational safety and health (OSH), ethical production, environmental responsibility, and compliance with relevant certification standards. The consultancy will cover 115 SMEs across five sectors: Textile & Apparel, Leather, Medical & Surgical Instruments, Rice Processing, and Sporting Goods. Only firms with relevant experience and qualifications related to the region of Pakistan are eligible to apply. Items being procured: - Consultancy services for implementing SME Greening Accelerator Initiative - Support for due diligence, OSH, ethical production, environmental responsibility - Assistance in certification compliance The scope includes verifiable consultancy experience of at least 12 months in the last 5 years, completion of 5 assignments on due diligence, occupational safety & health, and compliance certifications in the relevant industries. Firms must have a combined financial turnover of at least PKR 220 million in the last three years and active taxpayer status. The firm should have presence in Lahore along with project manager and technical experts in Lahore, Faisalabad, Karachi, Sialkot, and Multan. Interested firms must submit a company profile with a table of contents, clearly structured to address all requirements, including relevant experience through recently completed successful projects. Only relevant and required information should be included. The submission must be in English. Only firms passing the EOI eligibility assessment will be invited to submit a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) including technical and financial proposals. The EOI documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope by 18 September 2026 at GIZ Pakistan, Level 02, Gate # 6, Serena Business Complex, Khayaban-e-Suhrawardy, Sector G-5/1, Islamabad, Pakistan. A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your submission clearly demonstrates your firm's verifiable experience with detailed evidence of completed assignments in the specified sectors and regions, as incomplete or incorrectly titled submissions may be excluded from consideration.
