Consultancy Services for Detailed Designs, Procurement Assistance and Construction Supervision of Works for Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project Component B

The Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project Component B invites consulting firms to provide consultancy services for detailed designs, procurement assistance, and construction supervision of works under the QWASA Service Delivery Strengthening initiative in Quetta, Balochistan. Items being procured: - Detailed designs - Procurement assistance - Construction supervision of works This project aims to improve flood protection, increase access to water for productive use, and enhance water supply service delivery for about 500,000 customers of the Quetta Water and Sanitation Authority (QWASA). The consulting services will support preparation of detailed designs, procurement assistance, and supervision of works financed by the project. The scope includes technical and managerial support to ensure quality and timely delivery. Eligible firms must have a corporate capacity with at least ten years of experience in similar services, including detailed design, supervision, procurement, contract administration, quality assurance, environment, and resettlement action plan implementation. Firms should provide documentary evidence of completed projects, reference letters, client contacts, and details of ongoing projects. Joint ventures are allowed but all partners will be jointly liable. The selection will follow the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method as per the World Bank's Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Fifth Edition, September 2023.
