Consultancy Services for Supervision of Water Supply and Sewerage Engineering Works in Karachi

The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) invites proposals from reputed national consultant firms for consultancy services involving scrutiny and supervision of engineering works related to water supply, distribution, pumping stations, and sewerage services in Karachi. This includes civil, electrical, and mechanical repair and maintenance works under the Annual Maintenance Program and Annual Development Plan sponsored by the Government of Sindh. The consultancy scope covers monitoring and supervision of existing infrastructure, third-party monitoring of works executed in the current and last three financial years, and verification of payments and work quality. The consultant will be responsible for detailed analysis of proposed works, risk mitigation, quality control, testing, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. They will review as-built drawings using computerized tools, recommend methodologies for laying, replacement, and repair of water and sewerage networks, and optimize allied works to reduce water losses and road damages. The contract period is 12 months, extendable, with an estimated cost of **PKR 150 million**. Eligible firms must have valid PEC registration with relevant project codes, registration with FBR and Sindh Revenue Board, and be on the Active Taxpayer List. A minimum of 20 years' experience in designing, estimating, and supervising water supply and sewerage projects is mandatory. Firms must submit their proposals by **2nd June 2026 at 2:00 PM** to the Secretary Consultant Selection Committee at KW&SC, Block-D, 9th Mile, Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. Earnest Money in the form of a pay order or bank guarantee of **PKR 5 million** is required. The technical proposal will be opened on the same day at 2:30 PM.
