Tender Description
This tender invites bids from qualified firms for the conversion of existing Toyota vehicles into bullet resistant armored vehicles compliant with B6+ ballistic protection standards. Located in Chilas, Gilgit Baltistan, the project involves upgrading Toyota Hilux Revo-G, Toyota Coaster 29-seater, Toyota Land Cruiser Prado VX, and Toyota Hiace High-Roof vehicles to meet stringent security requirements for the Diamer Basha Dam Project. The work demands specialized materials and skilled engineering to ensure compliance with CEN 1522 and CEN 1063 standards, enhancing vehicle protection against ballistic threats.
Bidders must be registered with relevant tax authorities, hold valid NTN, GST, and NOCs from the Ministry of Interior and SECP, and be enlisted with security agencies. The project requires submission of electronic bids through the EPADS portal by the deadline. A bid security of PKR 5,000,000 in the form of CDR, bank guarantee, or pay order is mandatory. The original bid security must be physically delivered to designated WAPDA offices before closing.
