Tender Description
The Federal Government Polyclinic (Postgraduate Medical Institute) Islamabad is procuring Dental Material, Dental Instrument and Allied Material for the remaining period of Financial Year 2025-26 and the annual tender for Financial Year 2026-27. This procurement is specific to Islamabad and covers a wide range of premium quality dental items including stainless steel dental mirrors, root elevators, probes, needles, burs, hand pieces, filling materials, and various imported consumables and instruments. The tender requires submission of bids online through EPADS of PPRA, with a mandatory single stage-two envelope procedure separating technical and financial proposals.
The technical scope includes supply of corrosion resistant stainless steel instruments, imported dental burs with diamond chips, composite filling materials, ultrasonic scalers, air compressors, and other allied dental consumables. The contract is extendable and requires suppliers to maintain cold chain for thermo labile items and provide warranty as per Drugs Act 1976 and DRAP Act 2012. Suppliers must ensure items have appropriate packaging, barcoding, and meet shelf life requirements.
Eligibility criteria include valid FBR/ATL registration, minimum three years of experience supplying dental materials to public sector or tertiary care hospitals, and submission of relevant licenses such as Drug Manufacturing License, Drug Sale License, and DRAP registration certificates. Bidders must submit earnest money in the form of CDR amounting to Rs. 300,000 initially, with a 5% performance guarantee upon award. The tender also mandates submission of audited financial reports for the last three financial years and bank account maintenance certificates.
The tender opening date is 30-04-2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid submission deadline before 11:00 AM on the same day. Bidders should submit their bids online only; handwritten or manually typed bids will be rejected. The submission address is the Federal Government Polyclinic Islamabad through EPADS portal. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure all documents are properly signed, stamped, and attached in the prescribed sequence to avoid disqualification. Also, strictly adhere to the pricing format and avoid any overwriting or erasing to prevent rejection during technical evaluation.
This tender offers a significant opportunity for qualified suppliers to engage with a reputable government medical institute in Islamabad, ensuring supply continuity for critical dental healthcare materials over two financial years with potential contract extension.
