Tender Description
This tender invites consultancy firms in Peshawar under the Public Works Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for design vetting and supervision of road construction projects. The scope covers feasibility studies and detailed design for rehabilitation and construction of roads including Garhi Sherdad to Ashab Baba and Kucha Chamkani to Canal Road.
The consultancy requires firms to prepare technical and financial proposals for vetting designs and supervising construction work on government road projects. The roads are located in Peshawar, involving engineering challenges typical of regional terrain and infrastructure standards. Firms must demonstrate experience in detailed design and construction supervision for road projects to ensure quality and compliance with departmental standards.
Consultants should be registered with PEC in the relevant category and maintain a valid FBR Active Taxpayer List (ATL) status for the fiscal year 2025-26. The tender advises bidders to ensure all documentation including Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) comply with the department's requirements to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline is set for 24th February 2026 at 12:00 noon. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes containing original and copy of both technical and financial bids. The office of the Executive Engineer Highway Division-I Peshawar is the submission and opening venue.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to obtain the RFP documents at least three days before closing by paying the non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000. Also, carefully check the tender notice for any specific stamp duty or Earnest Money requirements which are often overlooked and can lead to rejection.
