Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering) invites qualified contractors to submit bids for the DEVELOPMENT WORK OF EMERGENCY EXIT at its Regional Office Building in Multan. This procurement is for civil works involving dismantling, excavation, masonry, plaster, concrete, steel reinforcement, flooring, emergency exit doors, and fabrication and installation of an emergency staircase and steel structure. Items being procured include:
- Dismantling of masonry walls, doors, windows, electrical fittings, boundary walls and grills
- Excavation in all soil types
- Stone soling 6" thick
- Dismantling of RCC walls of strong room and locker room
- Brick masonry work with cement sand mortar
- Plaster work on walls and ceilings
- PCC under floor concrete
- Reinforced cement concrete (3000 PSI) for walls and beams
- Steel reinforcement bars Grade 60
- Porcelain tile flooring and granite skirting
- Marble on staircase
- Emergency exit fire doors with 90 minutes fire rating
- Fabrication and installation of MS emergency staircase from 5th to ground floor
- Steel structure fabrication and erection for emergency staircase
- MS railing and enamel paint work
- Anodized aluminum windows
- Fiber glass shed installation
- Red brick facade and elevation work
- Waterproofing of parking floor
- Concrete paver laying
The scope covers all materials, labor, transportation, scaffolding, curing, and finishing as per drawings and specifications. Bidders must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in category C-6 or above with specialization codes CE-10 and EE-04, active on FBR Active Taxpayer List, and have completed at least three similar contracts of minimum PKR 5 million in the last three years. Bid security in the form of Pay Order or Banker's Cheque is required. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 portal by Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Technical and financial bids will be evaluated using Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) method. The contract duration is 120 days. The procuring agency is National Bank of Pakistan (Engineering), located in Karachi, but the work site is Multan. Interested bidders should register on EPADS and ensure compliance with all eligibility criteria.
