Tender Description
Khyber Institute of Child Health and Children Hospital (MTI-KICH&CH), located in Peshawar, is inviting e-bids via EPADS for the procurement, installation, and commissioning of diesel generator sets. This procurement aims to enhance the hospital's backup power infrastructure, ensuring uninterrupted healthcare services. The notice is issued by the Project Director of MTI-KICH&CH, and all eligible manufacturers, authorized distributors, or OEM agents registered with FBR and reflected on the Active Tax Payer List (ATL) are encouraged to participate.
Items being procured:
- Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of Diesel Generator Set, 1250 kVA, Prime Rating, 1500 RPM, 400/230 V, 50 Hz with canopy and accessories (Qty: 04)
- Procurement, Installation and Commissioning of Diesel Generator Set, 250 kVA, Prime Rating, 1500 RPM, 400/230 V, 50 Hz with canopy and accessories (Qty: 02)
The technical scope includes supply, installation, and commissioning of high-capacity diesel generators with all necessary accessories and canopies. The successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring the complete operational readiness of the equipment at the hospital site. Bidders must submit a bid security of PKR 3,000,000 for the 1250 kVA sets and PKR 1,000,000 for the 250 kVA sets, in the form of an original CDR from a scheduled bank in favour of the Project Director, MTI-KICH&CH. All bids must be uploaded as scanned copies on EPADS by September 17th, 2026 till 10:30 AM PST. The submitted bids will be opened the same day at 11:00 AM PST.
A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 1st, 2026 at 10:00 AM in the Conference Room of the hospital. Only bids submitted through EPADS will be accepted; hand, post, courier, email, or fax submissions will not be entertained. Bidders must ensure all mandatory documents are uploaded and that the original bid security reaches the office before the deadline. A practical tip: register on EPADS well in advance to avoid last-minute technical issues and ensure your bid is successfully submitted.
