Tender Description
Power Information Technology Company (PITC) Lahore invites sealed bids for the disposal of used furniture and IT equipment on an as-is, where-is basis. The assets include computing equipment such as CPUs, monitors, and accessories totaling 79 units, as well as office furniture and fixtures including 60 chairs and workstations. This disposal opportunity is specifically for firms registered with Income Tax authorities and interested bidders can inspect the assets at PITC's Aiwan-e-Iqbal Office in Lahore during working hours before the bid closing date.
The disposal process requires bidders to submit firm and final prices inclusive of all taxes and transportation charges. The bid closing date is fixed for 24 June 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening scheduled for 11:30 AM the same day. Bidders must ensure their tender documents are signed on all pages and submitted on time to avoid disqualification. The department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids according to company disposal procedures and WAPDA/PEPCO rules.
Eligibility criteria include a valid CNIC, active tax payer certificate, and an affidavit confirming the bidder is not blacklisted or involved in litigation with any government or public-sector organization. The successful bidder must deposit 25% of the bid amount as earnest money in the form of a CDR on the spot, with the remaining 75% payable within 10 working days of approval. Removal of assets must be completed within 10 working days of the release order, failing which storage charges will apply.
A practical tip for bidders is to carefully review the terms and conditions, especially regarding the lifting of assets and the requirement for a firm quoted price inclusive of all charges. Early site inspection and thorough documentation will help avoid ambiguities and strengthen the technical bid. This disposal is an excellent opportunity for firms looking to acquire office furniture and IT equipment at competitive prices from a reputable government entity.
