Tender Description
The National Bank of Pakistan Procurement Division at its Head Office Karachi is offering for disposal obsolete printed and general stationery items in shredded paper form. This disposal includes approximately 18,000 KG of shredded standard forms, 40,000 KG of shredded books, and 1,500 KG of shredded table stationery. These items are stored at the NBP Stationery and Store located in Meher Sons Building Karachi and are offered without any after-sale liability or warranty. Interested bidders are encouraged to inspect the items from 4th May to 7th May 2026 during office hours from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
The disposal process requires submission of sealed bids along with earnest money in the form of a Pay Order or Demand Draft in favor of NBP. Bids must be submitted by 18th May 2026 before 11:00 AM and will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the NBP Auditorium. The successful bidder must deposit 100% payment within 60 days of bid acceptance and remove the items within 90 days at their own risk and cost. Eligibility criteria include valid CNIC, registration as a taxpayer, and no blacklisting or litigation with government entities. Bidders must also submit an undertaking confirming their eligibility and capacity to bid.
This tender is a valuable opportunity for suppliers dealing in stationery disposal and recycling. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure timely submission of all required documents including bid security and to personally survey the items during the inspection period to assess the condition and quantity accurately. Strict adherence to submission deadlines and bid validity of 60 days is essential to avoid disqualification. The disposal is governed by the laws of Pakistan and disputes will be resolved through arbitration in Karachi. This procurement is managed by the National Bank of Pakistan's Logistics Communications and Marketing Group at their Karachi Head Office with a submission deadline firmly set on 18th May 2026.
