Tender Description
Multan Electric Power Company Ltd (MEPCO) invites sealed bids for the disposal of off road vehicles located at various MEPCO stores in Multan and Sahiwal. This procurement is specifically for the disposal of eleven vehicles including Mitsubishi, Pajero, Mazda, Land Rover, Nissan, Suzuki, and a Master Truck. The vehicles are offered on an 'As is Where is' basis, parked at MEPCO premises including Regional Stores and 132KV Grid near RTC Multan. Interested bidders can inspect the vehicles on working days from 09:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
The technical scope involves the lifting and removal of the vehicles at the bidder's own cost, including transportation, labor, and compliance with safety protocols such as providing PPE to workers. The vehicles must be lifted within 21 days of the release order. Bidders must submit a bid security as specified for each vehicle and comply with MEPCO's terms and conditions including no sub-contracting and adherence to safety SOPs. The bidding procedure follows a Single Stage One Envelope process under PPRA Rules 2004.
Eligibility requires bidders to be tax registered, appear on the Active Taxpayers List of FBR, and submit an affidavit confirming no blacklisting by MEPCO or other government entities. Bidders must also provide a CDR/pay order/bank guarantee as bid security. The tender documents can be obtained from the office of Director Procurement Distribution MEPCO, Multan, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs 2000 and submission of a sales tax registration certificate.
The last date for purchase of tender documents is 10th June 2026, with submission and opening of bids on 11th June 2026 at 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM respectively at MEPCO's office in Multan. Bidders are advised to visit the site early to assess the condition and quantity of vehicles to prepare competitive bids. A practical tip is to ensure all bid documents including bid security and affidavits are complete and submitted timely to avoid disqualification. The highest bidder for each vehicle will be awarded the contract separately.
