Tender Description
Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) is inviting bids for the disposal of scrap material lying at 11 small power houses located in various areas including Awaran, Dureji, Mashkay, Kalmat, Jiwan, Panwan, Ormara, Pasni, Washuk, Naukundi, and Dalbandin in Balochistan. The tender covers multiple lots with a variety of scrap items such as Cummins engines, synchronizing control panels, used lube oil, fire extinguishers, electrical scrap, copper scrap, underground tanks, and DG set silencers. The disposal involves heavy and electrical scrap materials with quantities measured in kilograms and liters.
This procurement is managed by the Quetta Electric Supply Company (QESCO) headquartered at Zarghoon Road, Quetta. The scope includes removal and lifting of scrap materials from the specified power houses. Interested bidders must be registered with FBR (GSTN) and NTN, and must not appear on any debarred or blacklisted lists of federal or provincial procurement regulatory authorities. Only one bid per firm is acceptable, and an integrity pact must be submitted along with the bid. Earnest money is set at 10 percent of the reserve price for each lot.
Bidders should ensure they have relevant experience in handling scrap disposal and meet all eligibility criteria including valid registrations and clean legal standing. The tender process requires submission of technical and financial bids, with earnest money in the form of CDR. The bid validity period is 120 days from the date of opening, and the successful bidder must lift the material within the specified period in the letter of acceptance.
The submission deadline is strictly by 31st October 2023 at 23:59:59. Bids should be submitted to the CEO Office at QESCO HQ, Zarghoon Road, Quetta. A practical tip for bidders is to carefully prepare the undertaking documents and ensure all registrations and integrity pacts are complete to avoid disqualification during the technical evaluation phase.
