Tender Description
The Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control Islamabad is offering a public auction for the disposal of unserviceable and condemned items. This auction is specifically for various lots of damaged or broken equipment and furniture located in Islamabad. The items include computers, monitors, printers, air conditioners, LED TVs, fans, office chairs, tables, wooden almirahs, racks, tyres including bulletproof tyres, and other miscellaneous office and vehicle-related items.
The auction will be conducted on an as-is-where-is basis, meaning bidders must inspect and accept the condition of items before bidding. The auction is scheduled for 1st May 2026 at 1400 hours at the back side of R Block, Islamabad. Interested bidders can inspect the lots on 30th April 2026 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM by presenting their original CNIC for security clearance.
Bidders should note that partial bids for individual items within a lot will not be accepted; bids must be for complete lots. The highest bidder will be required to deposit the full bid amount immediately on the spot. Advance tax at 5% will be applicable on the bid amount. Possession of auctioned items must be taken instantly and removed from the site without delay. No claims or complaints regarding the condition or completeness of items will be entertained after the bid is finalized.
This auction is open to all interested parties. While no specific PEC category or FBR registration is mentioned, bidders are advised to comply with all relevant procurement rules and ensure timely submission of bids. A practical tip for bidders is to thoroughly inspect the lots during the inspection day to avoid any surprises, as the auction follows a strict no-claim policy. This ensures informed bidding and smooth possession of items post-auction.
The Ministry reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason, in accordance with the Public Procurement Rules 2004 and General Financial Rules Vol-I of the Government of Pakistan.
