Disposal of Unserviceable Power Transformers at Grid Stations

Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) invites bids for the disposal of old unserviceable power transformers located at various 132kV grid stations including Moro, Faridabad, Naushero Feroze, and Padidan in Sindh province. This procurement is managed by the Chief Engineer (Development) Project Management Unit at SEPCO Sukkur. The tender covers the sale of scrap material on an as-is-where-is basis, requiring bidders to quote rates for the complete tender. Interested firms must be registered taxpayers with valid CNIC, NTN, and STRN if available. Bids must be submitted electronically via the E-PADS PPRA portal by the closing date. The tender will be opened on 4th May 2026 at 11:00 AM in the presence of bidders' representatives. The successful bidder will be responsible for lifting the awarded items within 21 working days of release order issuance. Eligibility requires firms not to be blacklisted or debarred by WAPDA, NTDC, or DISCOs and to provide an undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper. Bidders should ensure their bids remain valid for 90 calendar days from the bid opening date. The procurement follows WAPDA disposal procedures and PPRA disposal rules.
