Tender Description
The Printing Corporation of Pakistan, Islamabad, is inviting sealed tenders for the disposal of used P.S. Plates from its premises located at Khyaban-e-Suhrawardy, G-7/4, Islamabad. This procurement is specifically for reputable firms registered with the Sales Tax Department interested in purchasing used printing plates on an 'As Is Where Is' basis. The scope includes lifting the used P.S. Plates from the PCP Press site. Bidders must submit their offers along with an earnest money deposit of Rs. 35,000 in the form of a Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of the Printing Corporation of Pakistan (Pvt) Limited. The tender documents can be obtained from the PCP office upon payment of Rs. 5,000, which is non-refundable.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with the Sales Tax Department and to provide valid NTN and STR numbers. The tender must be accompanied by a copy of the receipt for the purchase of tender documents. Offers should remain valid for 90 working days from the date of tender opening. The successful bidder will be responsible for paying all applicable government taxes before lifting the material and must complete the lifting within 15 working days of receiving the written notice. Failure to lift within 30 working days will result in a penalty of 0.5 percent per day deducted from the security deposit.
The tender opening is scheduled for 03.06.2026 at 2:30 p.m. in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. The submission deadline is 03.06.2026 by 2:00 p.m. at the PCP office in Islamabad. One practical tip for bidders is to ensure that all documents, including the earnest money instrument and tender form receipt, are properly attached and that the offer is clear and unambiguous to avoid rejection. Attention to detail in the submission will improve chances of success in this competitive disposal tender.
