Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) is offering disposal of vehicles through an e-bidding process. This procurement is specifically for the disposal of vehicles located at IESCO Headquarters, Islamabad. Interested bidders are invited to participate by submitting their bids along with the required Earnest Money in the form of CDR or bank guarantee from a scheduled bank of Pakistan with a minimum rating of A+.
Items being procured:
- Disposal of vehicles as per detailed terms and conditions
The vehicles are sold on an 'as is where is' basis. Bidders are responsible for inspecting the vehicles to satisfy themselves regarding the type, quality, and condition before submitting their bids. All weighment, counting, and loading of vehicles will be done by the successful bidder. Full payment must be made within 10 working days from the issuance of the Letter of Acceptance. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Earnest Money. After payment, the bidder must remove the vehicle within 15 working days or face rental charges of 1% per day of the vehicle's total value.
Eligibility criteria include submission of Earnest Money in the bidder's own name, compliance with PPRA Disposal Regulations 2024, and the bidder must not be blacklisted by NGC, WAPDA, DISCOs, GENCOs, or any government department. Taxes including 18% GST and 10% Income Tax will be applicable on the bid price.
The tender does not specify a publish or closing date; bidders should monitor official IESCO communications for deadlines. Bids must be submitted with all required documents and Earnest Money before the closing time. The disposal committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid without assigning any reason.
A practical tip for bidders: Carefully inspect the vehicles on site before bidding to avoid any disputes later, as no claims will be entertained post-sale. Ensure Earnest Money is submitted in the correct name and format to avoid disqualification.
This tender offers a valuable opportunity for suppliers interested in vehicle disposal in Islamabad under transparent and regulated conditions.
