Tender Description
The Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) is inviting sealed bids through the e-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS) v2.0 for the procurement of Double Pole / Structure Platforms under Tender No. 4436 for the financial year 2026-27. This procurement is managed by the Material Management division of LESCO headquartered at 22-A, Queens Road, Lahore. The procurement follows the Single Stage One Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique in accordance with Public Procurement Rules, 2004.
Items being procured:
- Double Pole / Structure Platforms (Quantity: 4000 Nos.)
The items must conform to the specification DDS-48:2008 (Amended to date) and prototype approval from the Stands & Specifications Department of PPMC/NGC is required. The supplier must be a manufacturer or authorized agent with valid prototype approval or must obtain it within the delivery schedule. The delivery schedule is divided into four lots of 1000 Nos. each with staggered delivery periods of 60 days for the first lot and 30 days for each subsequent lot. Delivery locations include LESCO Regional Stores at Shalamar, Walgon Sohail, and Pattoki.
Bidders must be registered with FBR, active on the ATL, and provide bid security in the form of Pay Order, Banker's Cheque, Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft. Bids must be submitted online via EPADS v2.0 by 15th September 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM the same day. Manual bids will not be accepted.
Technical evaluation will ensure compliance with specifications and eligibility criteria including financial health, past experience, and no conflict of interest. Performance guarantees of 5% of contract price are required upon award. Inspection and testing will be conducted at manufacturer premises by authorized representatives. Early supply is acceptable but delivery deadlines are strict.
Bidders are advised to carefully review all bidding documents, ensure timely submission of bid security and documents, and register on EPADS v2.0 to participate. The procuring agency reserves the right to reject any or all bids without assigning reasons. For assistance, contact the Chief Engineer Material Management at +92-370-499-0342 or email ammm5@lesco.gov.pk.
A practical tip for bidders: Ensure your prototype approval is valid or that you can obtain it promptly, as delays in prototype submission will lead to penalties and possible disqualification. Register early on EPADS v2.0 and upload all required documents to avoid disqualification.
