Tender Description
The National Institute of Child Health, Karachi, under the Government of Sindh, invites reputable and well-established pharmaceutical manufacturers, importers, and authorized agents to participate in the procurement process for drugs and medicines under the LP 15 percent budget for the financial year 2026-2027. This tender is a significant opportunity for suppliers specializing in pharmaceuticals and medical consumables to supply their products to one of the leading pediatric healthcare institutions in Pakistan.

The technical scope covers a wide range of pharmaceutical products, including but not limited to, essential medicines, surgical disposables, medical gases, and laboratory reagents. All products must comply with DRAP registration requirements, and bidders must submit valid licenses and certificates such as GMP, ISO 9001:2015, and CE Marked Certification for medical devices where applicable. The estimated cost for this procurement is **PKR 47.923 million**. Bidders are required to submit a bid security of 2 percent of the estimated tender value in the form of a Pay Order, Demand Draft, or CDR in favor of the Executive Director, NICH, Karachi. Performance security equivalent to 5 percent of the contract amount will also be required from successful vendors.
Bids must be submitted electronically via the Sindh e-procurement portal (EPADS) between **17-08-2026** and **01-09-2026**, with the final submission deadline being **02-09-2026** from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The tender opening will take place on **02-09-2026** at 1:00 PM in the Main Auditorium, NICH Karachi. Only those firms that are registered with Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments and are not blacklisted or involved in litigation are eligible to participate. All quoted items must be accompanied by commercial samples, and the quoted rates must be valid up to 30-06-2027.
