Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites E-Bids from pre-qualified firms and manufacturers registered with the Chief Engineer (Purchase & Disposal) and FBR for the financial year 2026-27. The procurement is for a comprehensive range of electrical distribution materials to be delivered on a free delivery basis to IESCO Regional Stores in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Rajjar, and Wah. The scope includes supply of various capacities of pole mounted distribution transformers ranging from 25 KVA to 200 KVA, LT steel structures of 31 feet, transformer oil Class-I, ACSR Rabbit and AAC Ant conductors, PVC cables, AMI meters with PLC and GPRS communication modules, steel cross arms, disc insulators, nuts and bolts, double arming bolts, stay rods, HT steel structures, dropout cutouts, shackle assemblies, PG connectors, and 11 KV capacitors.
Bidders must ensure compliance with relevant WAPDA/NTDC specifications and possess valid prototype approval if applicable. Registration with FBR and valid ATL status is mandatory. The tender requires submission of earnest money in the form of bid security/CDR valid for 90 to 150 days depending on the tender lot. Bidders should be familiar with the E-PADS Version 2.0 portal for online submission and upload of mandatory documents. The technical bid and financial bid will be opened on specified dates with strict adherence to timelines.
The tender opening dates are 17th July 2026 for tenders 1 to 14 and 19 to 30, and 22nd July 2026 for tenders 15 to 18. All bids must be firm and final on FCS basis without foreign exchange involvement. The Chief Engineer (Material Management) IESCO Islamabad is the contact authority. A practical tip for bidders is to ensure prototype approval and timely submission through the E-PADS portal to avoid disqualification.
