Tender Description
Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) invites bids for construction of electrical equipment foundations at 132KV Grid Stations in Naukot and Umerkot, Sindh. This tender covers civil and allied works essential for power distribution infrastructure in these districts, focusing on robust foundation work to support high-voltage electrical equipment.
The scope includes foundation construction for one line bay at Naukot and conversion of one ISO bay at Umerkot, requiring specialized civil engineering skills and materials suitable for electrical installations. Contractors must ensure compliance with technical specifications and safety standards to maintain grid stability and operational efficiency in the region.
Bidders must hold a valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) license with specialization CE-10 and demonstrate at least two years of relevant experience. Registration with Sindh Sales Tax and Income Tax Departments, along with active taxpayer status on the SRB and Federal Board of Revenue lists, is mandatory. This ensures compliance with fiscal and regulatory requirements for the 2025-26 financial year.
The bid submission deadline is set for 22 January 2026 at 11:00 AM, with bid opening commencing shortly after at the HESCO office in Hyderabad. Bids must be submitted electronically via the EPADS platform, accompanied by the required bid security in the form of a bank guarantee or Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) from a scheduled bank.
