Tender Description
This tender invites qualified firms in Khanewal to provide electricity bill distribution services under the jurisdiction of MEPCO Circle Khanewal. Issued by Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO), this opportunity focuses on outsourcing the distribution of electricity bills for divisions including Khanewal, Mianchannu, and Kabirwala.
The scope covers the physical distribution of electricity bills to consumers in the specified divisions. The contractor must ensure timely and accurate delivery, maintaining a reliable workforce with at least three years of bill distribution experience in DISCOs. The work demands coordination with MEPCO offices and adherence to strict timelines, with a bid security of PKR 0.6 million required. The contract term is for the fiscal years 2025-26, with potential renewal based on performance.
Bidders must be registered with Income Tax and PRA departments, provide valid tax certificates, and attach three years of income tax returns. Registration with SECP and NTDC is mandatory. The tender requires submission of a Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as bid security, valid for 90 days, and a bank statement or bank letter. The firm must also submit a performance certificate for bill distribution and a list of working staff for verification.
The submission deadline is set for 10th February 2026 at 10:30 AM, with bid opening at 11:00 AM on the same day. Bids must be submitted electronically via EPADS, and manual bids will not be accepted. The office of the Superintending Engineer (OP) MEPCO Circle Khanewal is the venue for bid opening.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid includes all required registration documents and the correct bid security amount. Missing the updated CDR value or failing to submit electronically on EPADS can lead to outright rejection. Also, verify the Earnest Money validity and keep a copy of the advertisement for reference on stamp duty and other procedural requirements.
