Tender Description
The Military Engineer Services (MES) Islamabad invites sealed tenders for emergency work involving the provision of certain facilities at the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Base in Islamabad. This procurement is specifically managed by the DW&CE (PAF) Chakala office. The tender covers two major components with estimated costs of Rs. 34.608 million and Rs. 16.418 million respectively, reflecting a significant scale of civil works.
The technical scope includes construction and civil works at the PAF Base, requiring contractors to have relevant experience and PEC registration in categories 'A' and 'B'. Contractors must also be on the approved MES list and provide evidence of no litigation or adverse reports from government inspection bodies. The tender documents will be issued only to firms meeting these criteria, ensuring qualified and capable bidders participate.
Interested contractors must submit their applications along with complete credentials by 1130 hours on 4th June 2026. The tender opening will follow at 1200 hours on the same day. The submission and opening will take place at the office of the Accepting Officer. Contact for further details is available at CMES (PAF) Islamabad and CMES (PAF) Chakala during working hours.
Bidders are advised to carefully prepare their Technical and Financial Bids, ensuring all required documents including PEC registration and FBR/ATL certificates are included. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and CDR requirements should be strictly followed as per tender instructions. A practical tip for bidders is to attend the tender opening to clarify any immediate queries and demonstrate commitment, which can be advantageous in the evaluation process.
