Procurement, supply, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, warranty, and support of Enterprise-grade Layer II Network Switches

Pakistan Revenue Automation Pvt Limited (PRAL) Islamabad invites bids for the procurement, supply, installation, configuration, testing, commissioning, warranty, and support of Enterprise-grade Layer II Network Switches. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and will be executed under the National Single Stage-Two Envelope procedure with Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. Items being procured: - Layer II network switches (2 units) for CCU room with allied accessories including patch panels and ODF - 15U Wall-Mounted Network Rack complete with PDU, Patch Panel, Fiber ODF, cable management accessories, grounding kit, and all required mounting hardware (1 unit) - Fiber Optic Uplink cable between Core Data Center Switch and rooftop CCU Room including supply, installation, termination, testing, commissioning, and all associated accessories (1 unit) The technical scope includes Layer 2 POE enabled 48 port switches with a power budget of 300 watts, switching capacity of 160 Gbps or higher, 10G optical ports with minimum 300-meter range, fully populated ports with all required convertors and cables, and enterprise-grade features such as multi-vendor interoperability, security protocols, role-based authentication, and comprehensive post-sales support for three years with 24x7 extendable support. The 15U wall-mounted rack must be lockable, with removable side panels, integrated cable entry points, grounding kit, rack-mount PDU, and cable managers, providing at least 15% spare capacity for future expansion. The fiber optic uplink must be installed through appropriate ducts and conduits with a site survey to determine cable lengths and accessories. Eligibility criteria require bidders to be registered with FBR/SECP as applicable, active taxpayers, and not blacklisted. Experience in supplying and installing similar equipment to multiple clients is mandatory. The delivery timeline is 10-12 weeks from the issuance of the Purchase Order.
