Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the expansion of the road in Basima City, District Washuk, under the BSDI program for the fiscal year 2025-26. The project involves extending the road length by 2.46 kilometers, enhancing connectivity and infrastructure in this remote area of Balochistan. The CWPP&H Department District Washuk is overseeing the execution, ensuring adherence to composite schedule rates 2023 on percentage basis.
The work requires experienced contractors capable of handling road construction in challenging terrain. Materials must meet quality standards suitable for the region's climate and soil conditions. The site demands careful engineering to address potential issues such as soil stability and drainage, ensuring durability and safety of the expanded road.
Bidders must be registered on the Active Taxpayer List and not blacklisted by any procuring agency. The firm should have completed at least two similar assignments with a turnover of no less than PKR 34,837,224 in the last three financial years, demonstrating financial capacity and technical expertise. The deadline for electronic bid submission is set for 19 February 2026 at 10:00 AM, with tender opening scheduled the same day at 11:00 AM via the EPPS system. Tender documents are available electronically at www.bppra.gob.pk, and bids must include a 2% bid security in the form of a bank guarantee or call deposit receipt.
Pro-Tip: Ensure your bid security documents strictly follow the bank guarantee format and are issued by a scheduled bank to avoid disqualification. Also, double-check the EPPS portal for any last-minute updates or clarifications before submission.
