Tender Description
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) invites sealed bids for the Extension of 10/13 MVA Transformer Bay and Busbar at the 132 kV Grid Station Zero Point under cost deposit head. This procurement is planned for the financial year 2026-27 and is being conducted under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) with reference number P110677. The project involves civil works including dismantling brick work and cement concrete, excavation, cement concrete plain work, erection and removal of centring, damp proof course, carriage of materials, supplying and fabrication of reinforcement, reinforced cement concrete work, fixing of MS rails, barbed wire fencing, cable tray installation, earth strip fixing, brick work, plastering, tuff tile laying, pipe laying, leveling and dressing of lawns, painting, surface finishing, wiring material installation, flood light fitting, earthing pit arrangement, RCC trench covers, switch yard fencing, cable marking, and other related works as detailed in the Bill of Quantities. The scope also includes water quality monitoring, air quality monitoring, noise monitoring, and solid waste management during the project execution. Bidders must be registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with Category C-6 specialization codes CE-10 & EE-05 and have relevant experience in similar works, particularly in 132 kV Grid Stations or higher rating. The contract duration is 90 days from signing, with a defect liability period of 365 days. Bids must be submitted electronically through the EPADS v2.0 portal by 28 September 2026 at 11:30 AM, with bid opening on the same day at 12:00 PM. Manual bids will not be accepted. Bid security in the form of Call Deposit, Bank Guarantee, or Demand Draft is required. The evaluation will be based on Least Cost Based Selection (LCBS) technique. The estimated cost is Rs. 16,857,747 inclusive of Federal Sales Tax.
