Tender Description
This tender invites bids for the extension of the Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) network to enhance connectivity at multiple key locations in Islamabad, including the E-Office at Islamabad Wildlife Management Board, BISP at U Microfinance Bank H-9, and RTGS at Askari Bank MPCHS E-11/3. The National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) requires experienced suppliers or service providers registered with the Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments as active taxpayers to undertake these works.
The scope involves extending existing OFC infrastructure, which demands precise engineering and quality materials to ensure reliable high-speed data transmission. Working within Islamabad's urban environment presents challenges such as minimizing disruption and coordinating with local authorities. The project requires adherence to technical specifications and timely execution to support digital Pakistan initiatives.
Bidders should ensure compliance with PEC categories relevant to telecommunication infrastructure and maintain active FBR/ATL status for the fiscal year 2025-26. It is advisable to prepare all documentation including Earnest Money and Call Deposit Receipt (CDR) as per tender requirements to avoid disqualification.
The submission deadline for electronic bids is **12 March 2026** by 23:59:59, with bid opening scheduled at least 30 minutes after closing on the same day. Bids must be submitted exclusively through the EPADS online portal. The physical address for correspondence is the Office of Director NTC, Regional HQs Building, F-5/1, Islamabad.
Pro-Tip: Make sure to review the detailed terms and conditions on the EPADS portal carefully, especially the notification of the Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) under Rule-48 of PPRA rules, as missing these details can lead to bid rejection.
