Tender Description
The Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa invites bids through the EPADS electronic bidding system for important conservation and restoration works at national heritage sites within Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This tender is specifically issued for projects in Peshawar and Mardan, focusing on heritage preservation and developmental works.

- Conservation/Rehabilitation of Entrances and Developmental Works at Mahabat Khan Mosque, Peshawar
- Conservation and Restoration Work at World Heritage Site, Buddhist Ruins of Takht-I-Bahi and Neighbouring City Remains at Sahr-I-Bahlol, Mardan
The technical scope includes detailed feasibility studies, land acquisition processes, and specialized conservation and restoration works at historically significant sites. The projects require expertise in heritage site management, civil works related to conservation, and adherence to preservation standards. The work will be carried out as per work orders issued by the department.
Eligible bidders must have valid registration with the E-Pak Acquisition and Disposal System (EPADS), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (KP-PPRA), Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) with specialized code BC-02, and active status with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPPRA) and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) including NTN and STRN. Experience in similar heritage conservation projects is essential.
The last date for submission of technical and financial bids is **19/08/2026 at 12:30 hours**. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 14:30 hours in the presence of bidders or their representatives. Bid solicitation documents can be obtained from the Engineering Wing office of the Directorate General of Archaeology and Museums Peshawar up to **18/08/2026 (16:00 hours)** upon submission of a written application, valid KPRA and PEC certificates, and payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 3,000 in cash.
Bidders must submit physical bidding documents, original bid security, and tender form fees in the form of call deposit receipt favoring the Director General, Archaeology & Museums Peshawar, via registered post or courier before the deadline. The evaluation will follow KP-PPRA rules and the prescribed criteria in the bid solicitation documents.
