Construction of Flood Dispersal Weirs and Embankments at Bohra Wah and Qaisar Wah, Sibi

The Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP), through its Project Director, invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for flood management construction works in Sibi District, Balochistan. The procurement is financed under World Bank Credit No. IDA 7790-PAK and will follow the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, dated September 2023. The construction period for each contract package is 30 months. Mandatory contract list: Sr. i, Package 6, Contract Identification No. PK-BID-PIU-529995-CW-RFB: construction of a weir structure and embankments at Bohra Wah on River Talli, Sibi District. The scope includes a flood dispersal structure or concrete weir, undersluices, head regulators, flood embankments, earthen channel, side protection with stone pitching, staff hut and associated civil, electrical and mechanical works. Sr. ii, Package 4, Contract Identification No. PK-BID-PIU-529990-CW-RFB: construction of a weir structure and embankments at Qaisar Wah on River Talli, Sibi District, including the same categories of flood dispersal, weir, undersluice, head regulator, embankment, channel, stone pitching, staff hut, civil, electrical and mechanical works. Bidders must submit qualification information required in the bidding documents for post-qualification assessment. Bids shall be prepared on an item-rate basis using the Bill of Quantities, with no composite schedule percentage premium, and bidders must provide their best final prices. Bids must remain valid for 90 days after opening and include bid security of **PKR 20 million**. Bidding documents may be downloaded free from the project website or purchased for **Rs. 5,000** per set from the Project Director's office. A pre-bid conference will be held on **18 August 2026** at 10:30 AM, with online participation available by prior email request. Sealed bids must reach the Office of the Project Director, BWSPIP, Component A, 117/41-A1, Jinnah Town Samungli Road, Quetta, by **11:30 hours on 03 September 2026**. Electronic bidding is not permitted and late bids will be rejected.
