Fumigation of Wheat Stocks in Shaheed Benazirabad Region

The Regional Directorate of Food Shaheed Benazirabad Region invites bids for the fumigation of wheat stocks lying in various godowns across Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushahro Feroze, and Sanghar districts. This procurement is for the fiscal year 2026-2027 and covers a contract period of up to 9 months from the award date. Items being procured: - Fumigation of wheat stocks inside and open godowns in Shaheed Benazirabad (5392.250 MT) - Fumigation of wheat stocks inside and open godowns in Naushahro Feroze (9020.372 MT) - Fumigation of wheat stocks inside godowns in Sanghar (2174.900 MT) The scope includes treating godowns, wheat stocks, and bardana using approved safe pesticides such as Aluminum Phosphide Tablets, Methyl Bromide (CH3Br), Delta Methrine 25 EC, and Polythene Sheets. The contractor must fumigate commodities and spray godowns inside/outside, including walls and floors, using registered chemicals approved by relevant authorities. The contract requires cleaning and sweeping godown surfaces before and after fumigation and spraying at two-month intervals. The contractor must apply a minimum dose of 3 grams per cubic meter for under-sheet fumigation. Eligibility criteria include a minimum of 3 years fumigation experience preferably with the Food Department Government of Sindh or other reputable organizations, valid registration certificates, NTN and SST registration, and a minimum bank turnover of Rs. 10 million per annum for the last 3 years. The bidder must provide a detailed list of fumigation materials and equipment such as fumigant tablets, contact insecticides, vacuum cleaners, sprayers, polythene sheets, sealing/sewing machines, thermal foggers, safety goggles, air compressors, and weighing machines. The bid security is Rs. 220,000 and must be submitted electronically via the SPPRA EPADS portal. The bid submission deadline is 20-07-2026 at 12:00 PM, with bid opening at 12:30 PM the same day. The contract is extendable as per SPPRA rules. Bidders should ensure all documents are complete and signed, and bids are submitted through the E-Pak Acquisition & Disposal System.
