Tender Description
The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission invites bids for the supply of Gas Compressed Argon Technical cylinders along with associated services. This procurement is critical for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards in the Commission’s technical facilities.
Items being procured:
- Gas Compressed Argon Technical (99.99% Purity) in Buyer’s/Supplier’s returnable cylinders of water capacity 45-55 Liters with protection cap (8,100 Cum)
- Delivery and Collection charges per cylinder from consignee’s premises
- Painting of cylinders if required by consignee (FOC)
- Marking of cylinders (FOC)
- Rental charges per cylinder per week for company’s cylinder loaned (approx. 100 cylinders for 2 years)
- Cylinder testing (FOC)
- Chemical washing and internal examination (FOC)
The technical scope includes supply of high purity argon gas in specified cylinders with safety and quality compliance as per CGA G-11.1 of 2023 Grade E, Type 1. The supplier must ensure cylinders are safe for use and meet all technical specifications. Ancillary services such as painting, marking, testing, and chemical washing are included to maintain cylinder integrity and safety.
Eligibility criteria require firms to be registered with FBR and on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL). Experience in supplying industrial gases and related services to government or large industrial clients is preferred. Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) and CDR must be submitted as per tender documents.
The tender was published on 29 July 2026 and the closing date for submission is 27 August 2026 at 10:30 AM. Bids will be opened at 11:00 AM the same day. Tender submissions must be dropped in Tender Box No 204 at the designated office.
